Whether you are looking to restore volume lost after pregnancy or weight loss, balance asymmetrical breasts, or simply achieve the shape and size you have always desired, breast augmentation is a highly personal journey.

Our approach to breast enlargement is rooted in safety, precision, and proportion. We do not believe in a standard aesthetic; instead, we work closely with you to understand your specific goals. Together, we will create a bespoke surgical plan designed to achieve beautiful, natural-looking results that complement your unique frame and enhance your confidence.
Choosing the Right Implant for You
The success of your surgery relies heavily on careful planning. During your comprehensive consultation, we will spend time discussing the medical and aesthetic options available to ensure you make an informed, confident decision.
Size and Volume: We look beyond arbitrary cup sizes, focusing instead on your chest width and natural tissue to select an implant volume that achieves your desired look safely and proportionately.
Implant Shape:
- Round Implants: Ideal for achieving fullness in the upper pole (the top part of the breast) and a more pronounced cleavage.
- Teardrop (Anatomical) Implants: Designed to mimic the natural slope of a breast, providing a subtle, highly natural profile.
Implant Profile: We offer various profiles (how far the implant projects forward from the chest wall) to suit your anatomy, from moderate for a subtle enhancement to high for a more prominent result.
Implant Placement: Depending on your natural tissue and lifestyle, we will advise whether placing the implant over the muscle (subglandular) or under the muscle (submuscular/dual plane) will yield the best long-term outcome.
Is Breast Augmentation Right for You?
You may be an excellent candidate for breast enlargement if:
- You feel your breasts are too small for your body’s proportions.
- Your breasts have lost volume or shape following pregnancy, breastfeeding, or weight loss.
- You have noticeably asymmetrical (uneven) breasts.
- You are in good general health, a non-smoker (or willing to stop well in advance of surgery), and have realistic expectations about the outcome.
The Surgical Journey and Recovery
We prioritise a smooth, supported surgical experience and recovery.
- The Surgery: Breast augmentation is performed under general anaesthetic at one of our premium partner hospitals in Sussex or Kent. The procedure typically takes between 1 to 2 hours.
- Going Home: This is most often performed as a daycase procedure, meaning you can return home the same day to begin your recovery, provided you have a responsible adult to assist you.
- The First Few Weeks: Your chest will feel tight and you will experience some swelling, which is entirely normal. You must wear a supportive, non-wired surgical bra day and night to support the implants as they settle. Heavy lifting and raising your arms above your shoulders must be avoided initially.
- Returning to Normalcy: Most patients feel comfortable returning to desk work within 1 to 2 weeks. You can gradually reintroduce gym work and cardiovascular exercise after 4 to 6 weeks, though targeted chest exercises should be avoided for up to 12 weeks.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long do breast implants last?
Modern silicone breast implants are exceptionally durable, but they are not considered lifetime devices. While many patients enjoy their results for 10 to 15 years or longer without issue, you should anticipate that the implants may eventually need to be replaced or removed due to natural changes in your body, gravity, or implant wear over time.
Where will the incision be?
Our preferred technique is the inframammary fold incision. The small incision is placed carefully in the natural crease beneath the breast, allowing us precise control during surgery while ensuring the resulting scar is well-concealed by the natural overhang of the breast and easily hidden by standard lingerie or swimwear.
When will my breasts look and feel natural?
Immediately following surgery, the implants may sit high on the chest and feel firm. As the muscles relax and swelling subsides, a process known as the”drop and fluff” occurs. The implants will gradually settle into their final, natural position, and the tissue will soften significantly over the first 3 to 6 months.
